This 6mm ARC barrel is another in the Premium Black Series from Ballistic Advantage, a higher end line of products that are still priced reasonably and that provide great value for the cost.  This barrel is for an AR-15 build that uses a 6mm ARC round.  The ARC is an advanced rifle cartridge and is a newer round having been developed in 2020.  The 6mm has a caliber of .243, so it is slightly bigger than the tried and true .223 Remington round; grain weights are larger, and the circumference of the cartridge is also larger to accommodate powder increases. This is a round meant to have high accuracy while still maintaining a soft recoil which is a great feature for any user that needs a precise, accurate round for any tactical or hunting purpose.  This barrel is made from 416R stainless steel and then coated with a QPQ nitride finish to increase longevity by increasing resistance to corrosion.  This is a good choice as it provides the benefits of a stainless-steel barrel as well as the benefits that accompany this style of coating.
