Each PRO series barrel is cold hammer forged from 4150 CMV and finished in Melonite (nitride) for excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The mid-length gas system helps smooth out cycling compared to shorter gas setups, and the 1:7 twist supports a wide range of common 5.56 bullet weights.

Aero also adds a single-point gas block dimple, providing a solid bedding surface for set screws and making gas block alignment easier during installation—an especially useful detail on hard-use builds.
