    Overall good, a few problems

    Overall it is a decent functional kit. Nothing fancy but has everything you need to complete a stripped lower. Problems. The selector switch was missing from the kit. I contacted BRD and they are sending one out. The springs for the take down pins were just a hair long. I had to clip off about 2-3 coils in order to get them to fit. I don't know if that was a kit problem or a lower problem. The trigger guard was present and came with a standard roll pin but the front detente wasn't present. There was nothing to hold the front of the trigger guard in place. Fortunately I had ordered a B5 trigger guard that came with a small screw for the front or I would have been SOL. Lastly, although not a problem, be aware that the screw for the grip is a hex head screw. This was my first build and I wasn't aware that was an standard feature. Luckily, I had the tools for this but not everybody does. So make sure you have a long enough hex driver to install the grip. For the money it seems like a decent functional kit and if I decide to build a low cost lower again I would consider using it. Just inspect everything really well before you start installing.
