    These lpk’s are great and go together easily. The only tough part is getting the safeties in. sometimes need to do a little extra finishing on 80%lowers to get the action you want from anything milspec. The big thing is black rifle depot, great prices on package deals like this and I even got a thank you note in my package. I will gladly keep spending money here.

    It’s a good starter kit for the price. The only issue is the pins for the fire control group like to walk out. I highly recommend also buying the antiroll pins instead of using the ones provided in the kit. But over a good product.

    The kit is nice for the money. It comes very well organized. Only problem I found were some minor imperfections on the disconnect or hook and the trigger hook. Minor filing with a nail file fixed those. Perhaps a slightly better butt stock would be nice, but all in all a well appointed kit.

The only complaint that I have is that the kit didn’t come with the trigger guard which really isn’t a big deal due to the fact I want to upgrade that piece anyways.     Do not recommend this kit. The stock that came with the kit as well as a Magpul oem mil spec stock both would not go over the threads on the buffer tube. This prevented the stock from locking into the first position on the buffer tube. The stock could be forced over the threads however this resulted in the stock having to be priced open with a screwdriver causing damage and marring to the threads as well as minor damage to the stock. Had the buffer tube been correct I would have given this kit 4 stars.

    This was my first AR build and I was very pleased. My new .223 Wylde shoots great, and with a little help, I had no issues building the kit. If I there is anything that I would charge as a negative, it would be that there were no build instructions included (maybe make a video on your site and include a URL or QR code to access it with the build kit) and I wish the stock had a rubberized coating on the butt. It does its job, but I would like it a bit more comfortable.
    All in all, it’s a good kit and I’m quite happy with it. I love shooting my AR.

    The kit was complete and relatively easy to install into the lower receiver. The only issue I really had building my lower was inserting the pin into the trigger. I could not get the holes to line up, but finally, after a little effort, the pin finally went into the holes. Everything fit well and worked as it should. Looks good and works good. Fired a couple of rounds after building my AR and it cycled and worked just fine!

    I must admit that compared to a similar kit from another manufacturer, installed in a receiver that is only ONE digit away from the serial number of the on in this “build,” I had an extremely hard time with installing the trigger-disconnector assembly, and a fairly hard time with the trigger guard and bolt catch. It took about 5 minutes with my other build kit to do the trigger – and I’m not kidding – it took about two HOURS with this kit. It seems that the Disconnector Spring in this kit was about twice as “strong” as the previous one I’d installed.

    As far as the Bolt Latch and the rear part of the Trigger Guard were extra hard because the roll-pins seemed several thousandths of an inch larger than those that I’d used on the previous build.

    Maybe I’ve “lost my touch.” I do NOT know!

    In finishing, I have not had a chance to take it to the shooting range to check it out, but the completed lower DID fit and function well with my new upper, when dry-fired, etc.

    Honestly a great kit for what it is.
    You are getting a Mil-Spec lower build kit for $100 that gets the job done. You pull the trigger and it goes bang. No real issues with any of the parts so far.
    Breaks crisp with a noticeable reset. The only real con is how heavy the pull is but that’s what I expect at this price range.

    The kit went into my Anderson stripped lower pretty well. I’m73 years old and this was my second try. But when I put my upper on, it would not close all the way and the rear pin would not line up. After several attempts I took it to my gunsmith and he found the rear of the upper was hitting the buffer tube. I spent another $55 on a buffer tube assembly and it now closes properly. Lots of unexpected monkey business.

    Overall this is a very great product that met my needs. I would have given it a 5 star but I did have to file down the bolt catch release. It would also be nice if they threw in a few extra springs and roll pins. Those are tiny and can get easily lost. It would suck to not complete the build because of a 15 cent spring or roll pin.

    All the parts are milspec and installed very easily. They appear to have good coating on the trigger, bolt catch, and Magazine release, and the stainless pieces appear to have a good polish on them. The price point was affordable. Durability and longevity have not been tested as of yet, however I do not foresee any issues arising with this system.

    I ordered 2 kits. 1 was perfect, and 1 had the quick release missing from the butt stock. The screw and spring are there, so I can make it function with a pair of pliers. But the quick release paddle on the bottom of the stock is missing or was never assembled. Quality control should have caught this?

    This kit was very nicely packaged and laid out. All the pieces that I needed were easily accessible and ready to use. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 stars is that the plastic for the pistol grip and butt stock is very cheap and low density plastic. Other than those two very easily replaced items this kit was all I could hope for.

    Overall it is a decent functional kit. Nothing fancy but has everything you need to complete a stripped lower.

    Problems. The selector switch was missing from the kit. I contacted BRD and they are sending one out.

    The springs for the take down pins were just a hair long. I had to clip off about 2-3 coils in order to get them to fit. I don’t know if that was a kit problem or a lower problem.

    The trigger guard was present and came with a standard roll pin but the front detente wasn’t present. There was nothing to hold the front of the trigger guard in place. Fortunately I had ordered a B5 trigger guard that came with a small screw for the front or I would have been SOL.

    Lastly, although not a problem, be aware that the screw for the grip is a hex head screw. This was my first build and I wasn’t aware that was an standard feature. Luckily, I had the tools for this but not everybody does. So make sure you have a long enough hex driver to install the grip.

    For the money it seems like a decent functional kit and if I decide to build a low cost lower again I would consider using it. Just inspect everything really well before you start installing.
