Ballistic Advantage Premium Black Series .223 Wylde Rifle Length Barrel is a high-quality barrel that’s great for maintaining or upgrading your AR-15. The product is 18 inches in length and comes chambered in .223 Wylde, which allows shooting both 5.56 & .223 without worries of overpressure. Manufactured from 416 high-carbon stainless steel alloy, this barrel is finished with the QPQ nitride coating that gives impressive corrosion resistance, extends longevity, and gives the barrel a sleek black finish. The SPR profile is heavy for increased heat management, tolerance, and flexion control. By using a longer .750″ profile dimension for the gas block, it’s capable of accepting an OPS12 suppressor and collar. The rifle-length gas system can give the user a softer recoil that is often sought by match or competition shooters because it provides the gas delivery to the breech area in a controlled manner. The Nickel Boron-coated M4 feed ramp extension has been given that extra length in order to help prevent malfunctions during usage.
