Lantac RPS Ratchet Plate System

The Lantac RPS Ratchet Plate System is a quality-of-life upgrade that makes a huge difference when assembling your AR-15. This end plate and castle nut feature a ratcheting system that negates the need for staking. The purpose of staking is to prevent your castle nut from backing off over time, but it requires permanently deforming the metal, making it difficult to remove if you ever need to. With the RPS installed, it secures your end plate and castle nut together, retaining them in place until you need to remove them. Taking it off is just as easy as installing it. All you need is your castle nut wrench to loosen it. The end plate features a QD sling attachment socket. Both the castle nut and end plate are CNC machined from 4140 steel and Nitride finished.
