Measure (with dial calipers) before you buy, I bought mine on the bigger diameter so I could fit it to the handguard and the barrel...the screws are flat on the head so you may want to sand/file the sharp edges down to fit your round handguard...I used a piece of paper folded in four parts to get the holes correctly spaced to drill my handguard (fit to radius/fold in 4 parts mark holes/drill to screw size)

I had difficulty finding an end cap for a 1.78" handguard. This end cap fit perfectly. Nicely made, Quality product.
