The Zev Technologies Citadel stripped slide is designed with a variety of enhancements when compared to a factory Glock slide. It is machined from a billet of 17-4 stainless steel allowing for custom slide serrations, lightening cuts, an RMR cut, and tighter tolerances. The entire slide is coated with a black DLC (Diamond like Carbon) coating that increases the hardness of the steel for better wear resistance. The front and rear serrations give you plenty of grip when manipulating the slide whether you are wearing gloves or have wet hands and the beveled front helps when holstering your pistol. This slide is compatible with the Gen 3 frame and factory components, so you can customize which sights, barrel, and internal parts that you want to use. This slide has an RMR cut to facilitate the mounting of your Trijicon red dot sight without fear of it coming loose. The RMR cut is designed to be at the right height for an absolute co-witness with tall iron sights. Included is a cover for when you do not have an RMR mounted. The lightening cuts on the sides and top of the slide show off your shiny new barrel but also provide added functionality. The decreased reciprocating mass results in a faster cycling slide and when combined with a properly tuned recoil spring allows you to get extremely fast follow up shots.
