The Trijicon ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) is a fixed-power, compact riflescope with an illuminated reticle for use in bright to low/no light. The ACOG is designed to be extremely durable and reliable. Combining traditional, precise distance marksmanship with CQB speed, many variants feature a bullet drop-compensated (BDC) reticle. Every feature of its design was chosen for a single purpose: to increase hit potential under all lighting conditions. The Trijicon ACOG/RMR combo is the ultimate aiming solution for both Close Quarter Battle (CQB) situations and longer-distance shots that require additional magnification. This dual-sighting system gives the shooter a distinct tactical advantage with the option of the Trijicon ACOG and the RMR Type 2 Sight. With quick target acquisition from the RMR sight and the precise aiming capabilities of the magnified Trijicon ACOG, the shooter can select the appropriate aiming solution for the situation at hand. Also, the RMR offers a similar level of rugged construction to the ACOG for the situation at hand. Truly the best of both worlds. Adapted from the battlefields, US Forces have begun improving this proven Trijicon ACOG scope by adding a small red dot sight on top for close encounter missions. Trijicon has now created a similar model for the public, the TA31-D-100548. The main Trijicon scope features a dual-illuminated reticle with fiber-optics and tritium for a bright aiming point in any lighting condition. The ranging reticle allows for bullet drop compensation out to 800 meters without any manual adjustments. A Trijicon RMR Type 2 sits on top with a 3.25 MOA aiming dot. Comes with a TA51 Flat Top mount.
