The 2A Magazine Catch Assembly is compatible with AR-15 and AR-10 platforms. The mag release button and magazine catch are machined from quality American aluminum stock and finished with a black, hard anodized coating that won’t chip or peel no matter how many times you use the magazine release to swap out magazines in the field or in competition. The center pin of the 2A is sturdy stainless steel so you don’t have to wonder about reliability, use after use. The 2A AR Mag Release Assembly ships complete with a release spring, center pin, mag catch and your choice of magazine button. Depending on what’s comfortable to you, you can choose a release button with a full grooved face, or a pocketed model that still features grooved edges for positive purchase in less than stellar conditions, and an open pocket that many will find more comfortable to settle the curve of a digit into.
