Good kit
The color is what I like most about it. It’s black, unlike some other ones that are gray. It has resin/epoxy filled inside, giving it a very rigid and solid structure. You could easily buttstroke an enemy. It has a trapdoor with quite a bit of space inside for misc parts. Haven’t shot it yet. Hopefully the buffer/buffer spring combo is good enough where it doesn’t need to be adjusted for the 20″ barrel upper to cycle correctly.

Stock looks good but it does not perfectly align with the FN lower, it seems to have a small gap between the two. Other than that it is very nice. I will try to do some minor fitting and see if that improves the appearance.

Overall, very happy with this purchase, and with Black Rifle Depot. Would definitely recommend.
Pros are: price and service were great, quality of A2 stock, trap door in but, hard polymer strike plate on butt instead of soft rubber. Only con: buffer spacer seems too short and rattles inside stock. You may need to do like I did and wrap a couple strips of tape around it to hold it against the buffer.

The stock that is sold with most. A Rs would be suitable for any civilian who doesn’t know. They’ll need a necessity of having a space in the butt stock. For a cleaning kit, it is also a powerful way to be able to stop and roll. It fit properly on several different receivers from different manufacturers. I will order this time and time again. As I don’t have much to do other than improve my, a R’s.

This butt stock is the best quality. I wanted one to replicate what I used on active duty. This one is extremely close. The biggest factor was the color. It is BLACK and has a slight matte textured finish. Not glossy or two toned like some othes. The plastic “trap door” butt plate works well and closes tight, no rattles. For an A2 it is good looking, and functional. If you are building an A2 THIS is the one to buy.

I will start by saying I have not finished the rifle yet, and therefore have not fired a single round using this stock. The construction feels durable and solid on the SOTA lower I installed it on. It is a “shiny” finish, so it is not going to look exactly like your service issued Colt M16 did. But, it doesn’t cost your firstborn child either. I am very pleased with it for the price. Was delivered by USPS in a padded shipper envelope. For some reason I was wanting a box. The product came to me in great shape so I can’t complain. Came with 2 awesome BRD stickers. One plain logo sticker and the Jurassic Park styled sticker. That was a cool bonus. I will buy again for my next fixed stock build. The service team is very responsive and informative. Terrible. Stock is terrible. Mine was qavy from the mold I guess. Trap door didn’t fit at all none of the parts are mil spec. We ended parting it out. The only thing that was used was the buffer tube. The test just went in the trash. Definitely do not recommend

Waste of money. Stock wasn’t right in color or fit. Had waves in the stock material when it was molded. Trap door assembly actually stuck out from the but plate. Tube was to long and bottomed out against the buffer retainer before it butted up against receiver. Spring feels like it made from placid. Only thing used in this whole kit was just the buffer. Everything else was trashed. Didn’t want to return for exchange because I didn’t want another kid like I had just trashed
