The Ballistic Advantage 13.9″ 5.56 Hanson Cold Hammer Forged Barrel is a limited-run option built for compact, hard-use AR-15 builds that demand durability and consistent performance. Cold-hammer forged from CrMoV steel, it features a chrome-lined bore and a manganese-phosphate exterior for long service life and corrosion resistance. The Hanson profile balances weight and rigidity, while the mid-length gas system supports smooth cycling in a shorter-barrel configuration.

This barrel ships with a pinned .750 low-profile gas block and uses a 1.015″ gas block seat for proper fitment. It’s also HP- and MPI-tested and includes an M4 feed ramp extension for reliable feeding. Hanson barrels are not designed for aftermarket piston kits.
