The Comstock Armory Recessed Micro Muzzle Brake (SKU: MBM-12-22-R) is an ultra-compact, suppressor-ready muzzle device designed to minimize overall firearm length while providing effective recoil reduction. It is part of the Plan-B compatible family, optimized for shooters who want a “tucked” look with their handguard and suppressor setup.Â
The MBM-12-22-R is specifically engineered to bridge the gap between a standard muzzle brake and a direct-thread mount. It features a unique recessed geometry that allows the suppressor to sit further back over the barrel.
- Ultra-Short Profile: Adds less than half an inch to the muzzle, making it one of the shortest Plan-B compatible mounts available.
- Recessed Design: When paired with a recessed adapter (like the Comstock RPA), it creates a tight ~1/8″ gap between the handguard and suppressor on builds with a 1-inch barrel/handguard length difference (e.g., an 11.5″ barrel with a 10.5″ handguard).
- Sacrificial Baffle Protection: Despite its small size, it acts as a primary blast baffle, absorbing erosive gases to extend the lifespan of your suppressor’s internal components.
