The Comstock Armory Recessed Micro 9mm Muzzle Brake (SKU: MBM-12-9-R) is an ultra-compact, suppressor-ready mounting solution designed specifically for 9mm platforms. It is engineered to provide a “tucked” aesthetic and minimal added length when paired with a suppressor.
The MBM-12-9-R is the 9mm version of Comstock’s shortest muzzle brake series. It is part of the Plan-B compatible family, designed to interface with the popular .900″-24 mounting system used by the Comstock LPA, Q Plan-B, and Rearden Atlas.
- Ultra-low Profile: Adds less than half an inch to the muzzle, making it ideal for PCCs (pistol caliber carbines) where a compact overall length is a priority.
- Recessed Geometry: Designed to work with recessed adapters (like the Comstock RPA), allowing the suppressor to sit further back over the barrel and close the gap between the handguard and the silencer.
- Sacrificial Baffle: Despite its micro size, it acts as a primary blast baffle, absorbing the erosive force of high-pressure gases to protect your suppressor’s internal components.
- Zero-timing Installation: The rotationally symmetric porting eliminates the need for shims or crush washers. It torques directly to the barrel shoulder for perfect concentric alignment.
- Standard Tooling: Features 3/4″ wrench flats for easy installation and removal.
