The Geissele Automatics Super 42 H2 Buffer and Braided Wire Buffer Spring Combo is an innovative solution designed to significantly enhance the function and reliability of your AR-15 pattern rifle. It utilizes a unique spring design comprising three independent wire strands. This configuration acts as a harmonic damper and energy absorber, allowing the springs to flex independently and effectively dissipate excess energy. The result is a reduced likelihood of spring failure and an overall improvement in your AR-15’s reliability. The Super 42 Spring exhibits a decreased propensity to lose length and force over a given round count compared to a stock spring, thus maintaining its effectiveness for longer. An added advantage is the elimination of the typical spring reverberations (or ‘twang’) commonly experienced by shooters, providing a more comfortable shooting experience. With a 15% stronger average return force than the standard buffer spring, the Super 42 Spring greatly assists in stripping rounds out of the magazine, particularly in a dirty weapon or when using steel-cased ammunition.
