Griffin Armament Taper Mount Minimalist Flash Suppressor
The Griffin Armament Taper Mount Minimalist Flash Suppressor is built for shooters who want flash suppression, suppressor-mount compatibility, and reduced front-end weight in one compact muzzle device. Constructed from 17-4 PH stainless steel with a QPQ finish, it uses a three-tine design with integrated anti-resonance features to help reduce visible flash without the ringing often associated with open-prong designs. Griffin states that it weighs just 2.9 ounces, roughly 40% lighter than many competing suppressor mounts, helping keep the host rifle lighter and more responsive.
This muzzle device is part of Griffin’s Taper Mount family and interfaces with RECCE, Paladin, EXPLORR, Sportsman, and Bushwhacker series silencers, while the Minimalist series also supports the Optimus 9 Mid-Size configuration and Optimus Micro with taper extension. The taper interface is designed to provide a solid lockup with minimal and repeatable point-of-impact shift, and the unit does not require timing during installation.
