The LMT Defense AXLE S/A EURO Trigger Group is a precision two-stage combat trigger designed for a clean, predictable break and dependable control under demanding conditions. Its patented AXLE design combines Wire EDM engagement surfaces, revised sear geometry, and a unique release mechanism that rotates around an axle rather than remaining fixed to the trigger body.

The EURO version features an approximate 4.5-pound pull and adds the ability to place the firearm on safe after dry firing or when the hammer is in the up position. This capability is commonly specified for military weapon systems outside the United States and distinguishes the EURO AXLE from conventional AR-style trigger groups.
