The Magpul MOE SL® Hand Guard, Mid-Length – AR15/M4 is for firearms with mid-length gas systems and an A2 front sight*. It provides modular flexibility with M-LOK® accessory slots in a lightweight, sleek, cost-effective design. Magpul engineers designed this piece with versatility in mind they included M-LOK slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions to allow for the attachment of optional Picatinny rail sections and other direct-attach M-LOK accessories. So be sure to add all of the tactical lights, slings, grips, etc. that you might want.

The Magpul AR 15 part is made from reinforced, heat-resistant polymer that provides operational durability without the weight and expense of an aluminum rail handguard. A large front extension and lower lip protects the user from the hot front sight assembly and maximizes useable handguard length.

The SL model is 1/3" NARROWER IN PROFILE THAN ORIGINAL MOE (1.8" RATHER THAN 2.2")

NOTE: Compatibility firearms with mid-length gas systems and an A2 front sight. Easy to install utilizing existing delta ring and round front handguard retaining cap with A2 front sight assembly. Must be used with the triangular A2 front sight assembly, other gas blocks are not compatible. Factory sling swivel is not compatible and, if equipped, must be removed from the A2 front sight assembly.

NOTE: The MOE SL Hand Guard – Mid-Length is a direct replacement for M4 Mid-type plastic, two-piece handguards and utilizes the existing round front handguard retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring. Not compatible with piston operated AR platforms.

NOTE: All AR 15 parts and accessories should be installed by qualified persons on an unloaded weapon.
