Choosing the right charging handle can significantly change how quickly and easily you can operate your AR. The right charging handle on your AR platform can be an extremely integral part of running your firearm quickly and efficiently with a scope or red dot magnifier. It can be used with any AR-10 or LR-308-type platform, and you have the option of a Black or Red XCH (Extended Charging Handle) Latch. The Black XCH latch would be a better color choice to match most any AR rifle or pistol, but the Red XCH latch would be better for a competition platform cause it’s easier to see in the heat of the action.
