California

Statewide restrictions for California include:

• No drop-shipped ammunition
• Handguns will not be shipped
• Ammunition shipments must go to an FFL
• No complete AR / AK receivers
• Non-compliant serialized AR and AK pistols and rifles will not be shipped
• No magazines with a capacity over 10 rounds
• Tannerite, flamethrowers, and Franklin Armory Binary Triggers sales prohibited
• Ammo or projectile sales restricted in Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Avalon

Colorado

Statewide restrictions for Colorado include:

• Non-compliant AR and AK pistols will not be shipped
• No magazines with a capacity over 15 rounds

Specific restrictions for Boulder County, Vail County, and Denver include:

• No shipment of stripped or complete receivers
• No magazines with a capacity over 10 rounds
• No AR / AK parts will be shipped (Denver only)

Connecticut

Restrictions for Connecticut include:

• No shipment of stripped or complete receivers
• Non-compliant AR and AK pistols and rifles will not be shipped
• No AR / AK parts will be shipped
• FOID required for ammunition purchases
• No drop-shipped ammunition
• No magazines with a capacity over 10 rounds
• FOID required for magazine purchases
• No sales of Franklin Armory Binary Triggers

Delaware

Restrictions for Delaware include:

• No sales of Automatic Knives
• No rifle or shotgun sales to any resident of Delaware that is under 21 years old.
• No variants of AR15 or AK47, rifle or pistol, or completed lowers are to be sold or shipped to Delaware.
• No semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that can accept a detachable magazine and has any of the following features:
  • A folding or telescoping stock.
  • A pistol grip or a thumbhole stock.
  • A forward pistol grip.
  • A flash suppressor.
  • A grenade launcher or flare launcher.
  • A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has an overall length of less than 30 inches
• No semi-auto shotguns are to be sold to residents of Delaware with the following characteristics:
  • Possesses a detachable magazine.
  • Possesses both a pistol grip and folding or telescopic stock.
  • Possesses a revolving cylinder.
• No semi-automatic pistol with a fixed magazine than can accept more than 17 rounds.
• No semi-automatic rifle with a fixed magazine than can accept more than 17 rounds.
• No magazines with a capacity over 17 rounds.
• No semi-automatic pistol that has a detachable magazine and has any of the following features:
  • An ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip.
  • A threaded barrel.
  • A shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel except a slide.
  • A second hand grip.

Illinois

Statewide restrictions for Illinois include:

• General Restrictions:
  • No sales to the city of Chicago.
  • Handgun magazines must not exceed a 15-round capacity.
  • No sales of serialized receivers (either stripped or complete).
  • No sales of upper receivers (either stripped or complete).
  • AR/AK pistols and rifles are not allowed.
  • FOID (Firearm Owner's Identification) card required for all ammunition purchases.
  • Drop shipping of ammunition is prohibited.
  • No .50 caliber firearms or ammunition.
  • Threaded barrels are not allowed.
  • No completed upper receivers.
  • Rifle and pistol kits are restricted.
  • AR/AK parts cannot be sold.
  • No stabilizing braces or blades.
  • Binary triggers are not permitted.
  • No bump stocks.

Specific restrictions for Chicago, Deerfield, Homewood, Dolton, Highland Park, Evanston, Aurora, Skokie, and Cook County include:

• Chicago: No sales to the city of Chicago.

• Deerfield, Homewood, Dolton, Highland Park, Skokie: 

  Magazines are limited to a maximum capacity of 10 rounds.
• Evanston: Magazines with a capacity of 15 or more are not allowed.
• Aurora:
  • No shipments of stripped or complete receivers.
  • Complete AR/AK receivers cannot be shipped.
  • Non-compliant AR and AK pistols will not be shipped.
  • Non-compliant AR and AK rifles will not be shipped.
  • Magazines with a capacity of 15 or more are prohibited.
• Cook County:
  • Magazines are limited to a maximum capacity of 10 rounds.
  • No orders of ammunition will be shipped to this county.

Maryland

Statewide restrictions for Maryland include:

• No complete AR / AK receivers
• Non-compliant AR and AK pistols and rifles will not be shipped
• Non-compliant handguns / pistols will not be shipped
• No magazines with a capacity over 10 rounds
• No sales of Tannerite, flamethrowers, or Franklin Armory Binary Triggers
• Ammo sales restricted in Annapolis

New Jersey

Restrictions for New Jersey include:

• No sales of Automatic Knives
• No Drop Ship ammo
• FOID Required for ammo purchases
• No Complete AR / AK Receivers
• Non-compliant AR and AK pistols will not be shipped
• Non-compliant AR and AK rifles will not be shipped
• Non-compliant Handguns / Pistols will not be shipped
• Non-compliant Shotguns will not be shipped
• No magazines with a capacity of 10+

New York

These restrictions apply to the entire state of New York.

• No PSA Daggers or Rocks will be shipped
• Ammo Shipments must be sent to an FFL
• No Stripped or Complete Receivers will be shipped
• Non-compliant AR and AK pistols will not be shipped

• Melting Point Restrictions are in place
• No magazines with a capacity of 10+
• No sales of Franklin Armory Binary Triggers

Specific restrictions for NYC, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island include:

• No sales of ammo or projectiles

Rhode Island

• No magazines with a capacity of 10+
• No sales of Franklin Armory Binary Triggers
• License required for purchase of ammunition; resident must be 21 years or older and possess a valid pistol or revolver safety certificate issued by the Department of Environmental Management.
