The Toolcraft .458 SOCOM/.450 Bushmaster Bolt Carrier Group is built for compatible big-bore AR-15 configurations using a full-auto M16-profile carrier and a durable Salt Bath Black Nitride finish. The nitride treatment increases surface hardness and resists wear and corrosion without adding a separate coating layer.
This complete BCG uses an 8620 steel carrier and 9310 alloy steel bolt. The bolt is shot-peened and magnetically particle-inspected, while the gas key is secured with properly staked Grade 8 fasteners. A hard-chrome 8740 steel firing pin and 4140 steel extractor complete the assembly.
