VLTOR VC-9 9mm Flash Hider – 1/2-28
The Vltor VC-9 compensator is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and features a mil-spec black oxide surface treatment (MIL-DTL-13924). The unique port design on this compensator is configured to redirect gases in a manner that effectively mitigates muzzle movement; therefore, reducing movement in your optic or sight picture. The closed-bottom design of the VC-9 helps to minimize dust, debris, and general ground disturbance. In addition to the ports, the VC-9’s muzzle face features six vortex cuts that greatly reduce secondary muzzle flash.
The VC-9 is produced in a single operation on a multi-axis live-tool DMG MORI lathe. The bore, threads, and all surface features are cut in a single operation on a single machine, without removing the workpiece. This ensures absolute concentricity and alignment of the features.
