Faxon Firearms Duty Series Barreled AR-15 Upper Receiver – 5.56 – 16″
The Faxon Duty Series 16″ Gunner 5.56 Barreled Upper combines balanced handling, durable construction, and proven AR-15 components in a ready-to-complete upper receiver group. Built around Faxon’s 16-inch Duty Series Gunner barrel, this configuration is designed for dependable general-purpose, training, and duty-focused use.
The Gunner barrel profile removes unnecessary forward weight while retaining material where rigidity matters. A mid-length gas system uses a stainless steel gas tube and Faxon low-profile fixed gas block for consistent operation across compatible 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition.
A 15-inch Faxon Streamline aluminum M-LOK free-float handguard surrounds the barrel, providing a slim profile and ample mounting space for compatible accessories. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 and comes equipped with a standard A2 flash hider.
Faxon pairs the assembly with its Enhanced Forged AR-15 upper receiver. The bolt carrier group and charging handle are intentionally excluded, allowing you to select those components separately.
