The LMT Defense 10.5″ 5.56 Barreled Upper Receiver is a factory-built direct-impingement upper designed around a compact chrome-lined Chromoly barrel with a 1:7 twist. Its traditional flat-top receiver, fixed front-sight configuration, and mil-spec barrel-mounting system make it a straightforward option for compatible AR-platform builds.
The upper arrives with the forward assist, port door, sling swivel, front sight post, and gas tube already installed. LMT uses a mil-spec barrel nut and delta ring assembly, allowing you to add compatible handguards separately.
The bolt carrier group, charging handle, and handguards are not included, giving the builder flexibility to select those components based on the final configuration. LMT test-fires every barrel for accuracy before shipment.
