LMT MRP 5.56 NATO Chrome Lined AR-15 Barrel – 16″ 1:7 Twist

The LMT MRP-L 16″ 5.56 NATO Barrel is a factory replacement barrel assembly designed specifically for LMT monolithic MRP-L upper receivers. Built from Chromoly steel with a chrome-lined bore, it combines durability, corrosion resistance, and proven 5.56 performance in LMT’s proprietary quick-change barrel system.

The barrel features a 1:7 right-hand twist and a mid-length direct-impingement gas system. LMT installs the low-profile gas block, straight gas tube, and A2 birdcage flash hider at the factory, providing a complete barrel assembly ready for installation into a compatible MRP-L upper.

LMT cryogenically treats its barrels for long-term durability and stress relief, and each barrel is test-fired for accuracy before shipment.
